BNZ银行正在提高三项住房贷款利率，包括一年期和两年期利率。
从周三起，其一年期特别利率从 7.25% 升至 7.35%。
18个月期特别利率从7.09%上涨至7.15%。两年期特别利率从 6.99% 升至 7.05%。
BNZ is increasing three of its home loan interest rates, including the popular one- and two-year rates.
Its special one-year rate lifts from 7.25% to 7.35% from Wednesday.
The special 18-month rate increases from 7.09% to 7.15%. The special two-year rate lifts from 6.99% to 7.05%.
For people who do not qualify for the special, the one-year rate lifts from 7.85% to 7.95%, the 18-month rate from 7.69% to 7.75% and the two-year rate from 7.59% to 7.65%.
The official cash rate (OCR) has been on hold since May at 5.5% but international funding costs have been blamed for pushing up the retail cost of borrowing in New Zealand.
ASB economists said this week that 5.5% was likely to be as high as the OCR needed to go but cuts were not likely until February 2025.
They said the market was currently pricing in about 4 basis points of increase in the OCR this month and 20% odds of a 25bps increase in February, with cuts to follow.
